These "Mid-Tech" folders represent a new standard at Rangermade Knife & Tool. Because they are produced in quantity, far more time is spent in the initial design process. Every aspect of these knives has been meticulously worked, and reworked. They are some of the best knives you will ever hold in your hand!

The name "Mid-Tech" refers to a combining of automation and handwork techniques. Unlike my purely handmade knives, there are aspects of this knife that are executed using CNC automation or batch processing. These production techniques are used in areas where they will improve the overall product to create a better knife. Many aspects of these knives are made the same way as my handmade knives; for example, the bevels are still individually, hand ground, the cutting edges are hand sharpened and the locks and detents are set by hand.
