The "FRAGO" is the first semi-production offering from Rangermade Knife & Tool. With eleven years designing and crafting handmade custom knives, the time has come to produce some more affordable and readily available pieces for the market.

The "FRAGO" is designed to carry like a smaller EDC style knife, but also works and feels like a larger knife in the hand. The G10 handles are CNC machined thin with generous texture to boost grip and dexterity in the hand.

The full tang blade is CNC profiled from 80CrV2 high carbon steel, then sent out for a specialized atmospheric heat treating process that includes cryogenic treatment and double tempering. Upon completion of heat treating, the blades are surface ground for flatness before the primary bevels are hand ground in the same way as our full custom knives. As a final finishing step, the blades are run through a vibratory tumbling process to create a clean, even surface.

The "FRAGO" includes a handmade Kydex sheath as shown in the photos. Mounting hardware for the sheath is not included as there are hundreds of options available and we leave it to the end user to decide their preferred style of carry. The hole positions on the sheath are standard .75" spacing to fit most mounting hardware on the market.

Note: 80CrV2 is a high performance, high carbon steel and it will provide many years of rugged, reliable service when maintained correctly. It will require periodic cleaning and light oiling to look and perform at its best.
